What the limits of the stock head gasket? Like how much boost/power can you run on it without blowing it.

It all depends on the engine condition to what it can hold. I would say keep it under 300whp about 15psi on a t28 to be safe.

There are a few ppl that I met that are running a 2871r at 18psi making 310-320whp on stock internal and original headgasket.

The motor has less then 30k miles. Its an s14 black top. Im planning to run the RS Enthalpy tune with z32 maf and 550 injectors. I was just wondering what it can hold because Scott from Enthalpy said that with his tune it will be safe to run 18psi safely.

Mileage isn't a good way to determine how long the head gasket will last because the important part is that the original paper composite factory head gasket isn't meant to withstand 18psi. That said, I wouldn't suggest much over 1 bar, which is a little above 14psi, MAX, on the original head gasket. Or even with a brand new factory head gasket.

I have an S13SR w/ 2871, 555cc injectors, etc.. and the original head gasket. A couple months after I got tuned and started boosting to about 16psi my car began to overheat when I got on it, which I believe is an indication that combustion gasses are leaking into the water jackets around my cylinders, which would be a result from a failing head gasket. (although, it could be something as simple as the thermostat... i parked my s13 at the first sign of trouble and havent had time to investigate it.) It's one of those things that you tell yourself to expect so you'll be prepared, and then you kick yourself when it actually happens.

Also, unless you got a front clip with the odometer intact, never believe the person who says your motor has less than 30,000 miles anyway.

edit: turns out my overheating problem was caused by the combination of my newly functional air conditioning and a complete lack of ducting.
