so you guys are pretty familiar with what happens when one uses the stock ka24de fuel pump? well I've had my sr20det redtop swap done for a while, after about a month I decided to get it dynoed and I'm running extremely rich with the stock ka24de fuel pump, however I'm running aftermarket injectors(not sure which type came with the swap) along with a reprogramed/chipped ecu to run the injectors, I get horrible gas millage because it runs so rich, but can this really be an alternate route of getting a new fuel pump? I plan to eventually get the walbro btw.

Eventually what will happen is that your fuel injectors will out flow your fuel pump, which means that the injectors will be trying to pump more fuel into the engine than your fuel pump can supply to the injectors. While not nessicarily bad for the injectors, if the ECU decides that the injectors need to be flowing that much, and your not getting enough fuel into the egnine, you have an increased chance of detenation.
