stock fuel pump/hard starting on sr

will the stock fuel pump cause hard starting on the sr redtop. its in a 90 hatch. i their is a few other things that might cause this problem that i found when i seached, az hitman thanks for the diagnostic procedures u posted. i am without a doubt going to replace it with a 255lph walboro. im just wondering if my stock pump is the problem. when i put the new pump and the problem is still there i plan to use the diagnostics az hitman provided . thanks in advance and sorry if this is a dumb a$$ question.
