Stock Exhaust Question

On a 2005 G35 6MT after the Y-Pipe and just before the rear axel is there a resonator on the stock set up? I saw a small oval 6" x 14" single in/single out muffler or resonator. Does this sound right?

Hmmm...I called the guy that did my exhaust to ask him this question. He had a hard time remebering but doesn't recall seeing that. Best person to ask is Drew aka infinititech...email him if no one else answers!

hey will you post the answer on here once you find out? because i would like to know as well, and how do yall think it would sound without the resonator?

Different car, but on my Maxima, when I took off the resonator, it gave it the ricey pop pop snap sound. Basically, it was not a good sound.
