What Engine Is in a stock is a KA or What? Im New to the 240 So i don't know? Can Some one Help me?

89-90 = KA24E (single cam)91+ = ka24de (dual cam)

Also everytime i turn the steering wheel it sounds like its groaning or something what could taht be??////???????????????????

did you check the power steering fluid level?

if thats straight you might have a pump goin out, but im guessing the level is just low

I agree, not my nissan, but my daily driver would always squeek, squeal and generally sound like hydraulic machinery whenever the power steering fluid was low.

on the s13, the lsd was only available in the "handling package" that included hicas.

well according to what people around here have said (i wouldnt know because i dont have lsd) theres an orange tag on the diff, and jacking your rear up and spinning the wheels will also tell you.

10+ years of dirt and grime wont help you. Get the car, and do a hell of a burnout, 2 marks LSD. One Legged Pirate marks, your open.

The S14's were an extra option even on the SE model. not all the SE's had LSD.

And the VLSD Diff Cover should have cooling fins on it. ( the red sticker should be located on the dirver side top in view)

Burning out to find out if you have LSD or not is the worst way checking that . Best way is to look for the orange seal on the diff.

Yes, ppl run 18s. You will have to roll the fenders, and maybe something else.
