My interior is pretty much all together again. Will be posting pics. My engine is very stock except cold air intake. I know there are a lot of items than can be removed from engine to clean up bay and make run better and breathe easier. I just dont know what, or where to begin. I have no emissions to worry about or inspections since I have the tags for next two years. Any advice or suggestions would be great.

I guess the usual stuff

E-fans and Seafoam treatment is the only things I can think of.

Search Seafoam in gen chat forum and there is a guide to seafoam. But it breaks down carbon and cleans up you motor inside.

I say keep it close to stock motor wise, until ready to turbo or motor swap.

You could 5speed swap to have a fun car, auto sucks.
Don't remove emissions if they currently work, you get better mileage.

I'd start with suspension work, remember if you drop over 1.5" you need to consider buy adjustable arms for everything, I suggest Powered by max parts.

Make sure your ragtop is in good condition and stays that way.

Other than that I guess an exhaust to make the car sound different.

I do not recommend buying a header, it won't get you much HP or anything but you will lose bottom end power for better highway top end.

So Consider turbo for major power upgrade. KA-T are beast.

But for the sake of making your motor bay look emptier....

As you can see there isn't much of difference. So doing it for something to do is kinda dumb.

Getting rid of emissions because you are going to go Turbo is a good Idea, because you need the room, unless you do one of the stealth installs by modifying your stock manifold to connect to a t3 flange.
