thats ok the difference between 3 and 4 is slightly above spec but I chalk that up to possible human error during the test. I would say those are pretty good numbers for an 89 240.

Can you please tell me what exactly is the stock compression for an '89 240, I knew that it was good, I was just wondering how good it is, Because I searched and didn't seem to have any luck in finding it.

The compression [reading] varies with the local altitude and barometric pressure...........and the real vs published CR........the gauge accuracy and leak down rate.

The 10.2 CR Q45 is speced at 185 psi at sealevel 29.92" HG barometer so a 175 REAL psi might be accomplished.

What cylinder block temperature were your measurements taken [ring expansion]?

Measure the running pressure at idle [turn injector off]......it should be about half.
