They also have stock replacement clutch discs, they are just a little better then OEM, custom designed.[IMG]This disc has an organic friction lining, which incorporates a bonded metallic back plate to withstand High RPM with burst strength. Specifically designed retainers protect damper springs from both sides and significantly improve safety of the product. Center has unique feature of being assembled with six rivets for extra strength.

It is recommended for street applications, autocross, rally, pro rally, off-road, and any other application where a clutch discs exceeding OEM specification is required.

there's always some sort of safety margin on factory stuff. But 7psi would definately be pushing it.

Someone on nico had tested one of the Exedy oem clutches once and found it holds till 220tq. So if we can use exedy's interpretation of OEM for estimation purposes.... i would guess like 180~200ish from the original clutch... if it's in good shape.

been holding 6psi for the last 3 weeks about 400miles now. Today it held 7 with slight spike to 8. I will say its gonna depend, I did a tiny clutch kick the other day and it had slip till I let off. That was after 20 minutes of heat soak from a 15 mile trip, I've pulled a few c/ks without issue on a "colder" clutch. I'll be upgrading come winter.

I'm honestly suprised it was able to handle 5 psi lol

no dyno number to lay down but its 7 psi on a solid ka. intake and o/2 housing back

My stock clutch has been taking 230hp for approx 9,000 miles now. That's 7lbs. of boost off a T3/T04E 57 trim I've taken it down to the track multiple times and so far it's held.

Varies but 7psi is max. Buddy ran 5psi for a yer and it held great for 8months then started to slip....

My stock clutch held 12psi from a GT28RS untill it slipped real hard one day, over revved my engine, and blew the ringlands off the pistons... lol

If it's the clutch that's been in your car since forever ago, it's hard to say.If you're buying a new 'OEM' clutch, then get a 'decent' one.

My stock replacement held fine for about 2 weeks on 5psi. Except it would slightly slip when really getting on it.Then when i changed out my wastegate spring for an 11 psi one and saw 9 psi of boost it'd slip even if i wasn't beating on it and just getting to speed on the highway or passing somebody. It lasted about 3 days on 9psi. haha i was hoping a little more out of the slut but oh well.I got a new one on order along with a short shifter. So we'll see what 9psi on my setup can do with a clutch not slipping. I wanna dyno it soon, and run it at the track as well.

IMO theres no reason to buy a 'OEM' clutch at all. Go for at least a 'stage 2' clutch or better. Its going to last longer, grab harder, and really has no down sides at all. I love my 'stage 3+' spec, even if it was on a bone stock car i would recommend it.

my stock exedy clutch kit from ebay lasted so long(2 months). t25 w/ 7-8 psi 247whp 241wtq and slippin like a biTTch. it is true about ka having a shiit load of torque, right after i 2.5k rpm my car just revs. save yourself some money and time by buying better clutch.

at 7 psi mine slips .. alot.. its a OEM clutch still had good meat on it.. break boosting cant do it.. i put down 246tq and 206hp on it.. at 7 psi on a T25.. but it slips.. i ran a 15.1 at the track cuz of it.. as soon as i get on it above 3000 rpm it gives up..
