I'm on a role with ?s When I did the swap the stock clutch was like brand new. I mean I didn't see any abuse. I figured when I really wanted to make some power I would replace it later when I pull the engine back out. Well everything was Ok until I took it on the highway. I didn't push it hard at all maybe to 4k and 65 to 70mph. When I got it home I noticed that the clutch was making a slight wining noise when I let it up in nuetral. I have been thing it could have something to do with the trans oil but if it were low wouldn't I have problems going into gear? Or could it be the trow out bearing? The clutch friction point is kind of high and hits pretty hard. The clutch looked like a stock excedy. I don't feel any slipping but then again I have yet to nail it.

did you remove the clutch from the Flywheel when you inspected it? If so it may have needed resurfacing. That could be the same sound my car made when i did my first clutch install on a KA, I was tired and wanted it done so i skipped resurfacing. Also if you think it is the throwout, you should replace it soon. A bad throwout will damage you pressure plate and possibly the clutch itself. That happened to me too. On my SR. I had several of the teeth off of my pressure plate broken and severely scored. The car made a very nasty noise all the way home.

also, I emailed you about the title, did you get it noterized? I need to know ASAP its down to crunch time.

It could also be the input bearing on the main shaft of the transmission. They're infamous for going bad on higher mileage transmissions or ones that have been sitting around for a while.

put it in first and push in the clutch, any noise?now start to let off the pedal in first, any noise?

In neutral sitting still clutch up it makes the noise. If I push the clutch down it slowly stops.

how about other gears if you just let the clutch up a little? does the sound start to come again?

sounds like a throw out bearing.

when you push in the clutch pedal, it puts pressure on the bearing, and tightens it up, taking out the play, and getting rid of the noise.

the pilot bushing is generally opposite when it is worn. same for input shaft bearing.
