Stock Car, Motor Swap B13 Senta

I have a 1994 sentra 2dr 5 speed. That i want to turn into a stock car to run in our entry (lighting) class here in circle track. The problem is the GA16DE in the car is illegal.Our rules State1. NO DOHC ENGINES2. NO MULTIPORT INJECTION. Thottle Body or Carburetor ONLY3. NO DISPLACEMENT OVER 2.2 liters4. Engines must be stock(we can change carb setup)... no motor work5. Its gotta be at least 95hp So the cars are 100% gutted. All it needs to do is drive and brake.So is there any motor that will fit and work, that meet these conditions. Ether keep the sentra transmission or swap it out. Or even a motor/transmission setup from something eles (etc. honda)Im not sure how interchangeable this newer nissan stuff is with bolt pattern and clutchs and flywheels. minor fabrication is do able.

hmm... looking at rule 4 that you've posted, the car's engine must be stock, so no motor swaps right? In which case the car itself is illegal. Or maybe the engine just needs to be a stock engine, but not necessarily stock equipment for the sentra.

Have you posted this in the g20 and sentra forum? They'd probably be able to help you out with the swap.

They allow motor swaps if its a downgrade.. or same motor. stock means... no aftermarket cams, stroker..etc. I never posted where you said (because im not sure where you mean) but i did post on other forums and more or less the consenses was nothing fits in there. i have a a l16 from a 510 here that meets the specs ill bet it won'thave the same bolt pattern. So im just going to sell the car. and race a civic like every other car in that class.

dimes are RWD so its not set up transversely

honestly that class sounds ghey no dohc? come on how many single slammers really exist anymore? Im not too sure of many single cam FWD motors nissan has; try the b12 sentra whats in those?

You flunk out on one motor or the other on pretty much every option.

KA24E (Stanza) flunks for being 2.4LGA16i (B12 Sentra) flunks for being rated at 90hp, but meets the sub 2.2 and no multiport as it has TBIE16i pathetically underpowered as it's rated at 70hp iirc

Those are really the only options that are not DOHC
