At what hp will the stock CA maf max out? Is the CA18ET maf same as the DET maf? Thanks.

Well i'm running 320bhp and i'm just about to change it, but bear in mind that its a European measurement (DIN) not the US (SAE) measurement, so with the SAE correction factors it maybe higher.

320bhp, so about 272hp at wheels? Thanks.

have you watched the voltage? you may have already overwhelmed it but didn't notice because you ran enough fuel to keep it from killing the engine.

So paul_s13 might already maxed the maf at 272 whp? What maf upgrade option is there for a CA? Thanks.

The voltage maxed out before 300bhp, its now become a huge restriction, the only problem I have is finding out how much HP the Z32 afm will take so I can recalculate air/fule curve on my chip to suit the new MAF.

you have to figure at least 350hp for the Z32 one, have you thought about Q45? It would likely idle rough without computer work but I would guess 400hp readability on that sewer pipe.

The Z32 MAF is supposed to be good for over 500bhp.

I've seen a QX MAF, I was sent one by mistake when I was trying to get hold of a Z32 MAF. The internal bore was around 80mm compared to the 76mm of the Z32. Was going to use it but when I checked the wiring diagram at my local Nissan dealer found the wiring was incompatible. It used a a very odd 3 pin connector and a completely different wiring arrangement to the CA and isn't usable.

Like mambastu said the flowrate of the Z32 MAF is 500 HP, i don't know if this is the actual flowrate of the MAF but 500HP is for shure the value of airflow that u need to reprogram your ECU to(BTW the stock programmed airflow is 190HP).

what perameters does the super afc need to make the Z32/J30 maf work?
