Brakemotive kit on EBay.

Please search in the future, the brakemotive kit has been discussed en masse here and plenty of people swear by em (I just got a new set last week that's waiting to be installed).

I've got the kit too, my 2nd one, the first lasted over 45k miles, and that was just the rears.
I went ahead just changed all 4 corners since I had the car up on jack stands and the whole kit is so cheap.

Has anyone tried powerslot rotors at all? I had a set of cheap ebay drilled and slotted rotors on my last car which lasted 5 years. Then I had a set of the powerslot cryo and was about to install them but I sold the car for my M.

I'm a big fan, too. I just passed 50k miles and it's time to replace the pads. I'm going to go ahead and do the complete set. It looks like they're on sale for the Labor Day weekend:

There is also another set that includes stainless steel pad hardware:

just installed Brakemotive set last weekend...just finishing break-in period, but seem solid....I did all 4 corners. Bought on ebay for $177 and had local shop install for $200. Dealer wanted $400 for just 1 axle.

That is the beauty of the Brakemotive kit. You get new rotors, new pads, new hardware on all 4 wheels for half the cost of a one-axle brake job and you are still left with old rotors and hardware. I believe it cost me just under $200 for the install so that seems reasonable.

I still prefer the OEM pads ... they have the best overall balance of stopping power, wear, noise and dust, from what I can tell. But, that is a personal choice. :yesnod

I use them with non-OEM rotors though. I am still very happy with the Concentric Premium rotors (black center cap) that I got from Tire Rack - have a thread on them here.

Just bought another set for the next change ...
