Stock bov

I hooked up my Hks sequentail bov up to the vacuum source it's working but not making any noise the swooshing sound is still coming through the induction kit are you supose to remove the stock bov down by the smic to get the new one to make the sound, am i making any sence.

you do know that a bov isn't just a noisemaker, right? and yeah, if the stock bov is by the smic then you'll need to block it off/remove it.
