Hello,My 99 Pathfinder SE has the Bose system in it. I am looking to get 2 12" JL Audio W3v2's, Alpine 9087 (i think thats right) head unit, and a 800 watt amp. Now im wondering if i have to replace my speakers also? i love these speakers in there right now and really dont wanna spend more money..so do i have to replace these speakers? and also...is it harder to rewire a custom system after removing a Bose system? And the install kit i am looking to get has the slot for the HU and also has another slot for a DIN (or something like that) what is that and do i need one? Thanks for helping...sorry for all the questions.Michael

BTW if anyone is looking for an OEM Bose system PM me..

Did you try this? It's a few posts about QX4's. I'm assuming you searched on Pathfinder :D

My guess is the speakers are amp'ed, so you'd need some type of line level or so adapter.

The second adapter, NISAH4N should allow you to plug a non-Bose system into a Bose (95-02 Nissan/Infiniti) car.

Here's some info for the 1997 thru 2000, but it doesn't appear to be for the Bose, you might be able to tell better than I could by looking at the pics.

Good Luck, and PM doesn't work. Is your old system a Bose in dash CD? I might be interested.
