some sites told me 7 and some sites told me 12

well, I think that stock boost is like 6-7 psi. That is compleatly stock, exhaust included. 12-14 psi is what people say is the limit for the t25 on the CA, you will also be needing some better injectors, fuel pump, stuff like that. This seems rght, correct me anybody if I'm wrong;)

stock boost is 7psi, but if you are running stock ecu and maf, you don't want to exceed the 12psi, you might have some detonation since your fuel map isn't set for this kind of psi

Stock engine is rated at 175HP, with 12psi, it should be around 185-195hp.

May I also suggest a BOV of some sort before upping boost? I think it would be a good idea, for the turbo's sake.

Bringing up a dead thread...

I suspected my hallman ES mbc was leaking, so today I cut it out of the loop...I just connected the nipple on the compressor housing directly to the wastegate actuator. It runs a solid 10PSI is 3rd-5th gear at WOT as measured at the intake manifold with an autometer boost gauge. Is that stock, or is my gauge reading wrong?

Well if you have any upgrades (i think u have fmic and some stuff) it alters how much boost it will run at and also it matters where you gauge is picking its signal up from.

All depending on your setup, lots of guys here got similar setup but not identical, your intercooler, exaust size, the hook up for the boost vacuum, and many other factors will give you different levels of boost.Factory all ca18det cars were set identical so the boost was the same all across.
