there are two components mounted on the same bracket as the igniter, How do I connect the vacuum lines to these components, there are several.

Also the hose that runs towards the rear of the wastegate, where does that go???

Everything is stock on the car right now.

Thanx

Those vaccum lines on the ignitor chip aren't used. You should only have 3 or 4 vaccum lines in your whole engine, assuming a 99% stock motor.

One from the charge piping to your wastegateOne from the TB to the FPR, which will T off with a boost gaugeOne from the TB to your BOV/recirc valveOne from your TB (below) to your carbon canister.

That should be it. I don't know which hose near your wastegate you are talking about.

so youre saying the stock boost limiter is not connected. On a stock configuration the wastegate is teed, so obviously it must go to two locations.

Also what is the "charge" youre talking about for the wastegate?

Yes, that's what he's saying.

The pipe coming out from the turbo and leading into the intercooler is what he means. If you have a HeavyThrottle hotpipe, it'll have a small port on it. So you just connect a hose from there to the wastegate (eliminating the stock boost limiter). If using stock intercooler and piping, then I'm not sure if it has any ports on it that you could use, but it would be real easy to add one.

No. the stock configuration is NOT Tee'd off. At least not when it's in a USDM chassis. The only reason I see it being tee'd off is maybe when used in conjunction with the AIV system. Maybe in a clip. I'm not sure because I don't know anything about that system as it's not utilized in a USDM chassis.

Please read my list of vaccum lines again. Again, your wastegate line is NOT t'd off, the only reason you'll have something between the nipple on your charge piping and your wastegate would be for an aftermarket boost controller.

thanx for the help, I set up the configuration you spoke of and removed the stock boost limiting valve, I don't have any type of fitting to plug my wastegate into the system other than at the cold pipe, so thats where I did it,

hey guys, what is the "stock boost limiter", i thought that the wastegate is considered a boost limiter? What is a bov/recirc valve? I have a sr20det and im trying to get it to run right. thanx

I have something between my wastegate and charge pipe nipple. There is tee (in hose between charge pipe and wastegate) with a hose coming off and going to what i believe is the wastegate solenoid. On the "wastegate solenoid" there is two nipples, one with the hose tee'd off of the hose between the charge pipe and wastegate(what i just described above), and the other goes to the rubber air intake bellows just after the air filter (before the turbo, so not boosted). Is this correct??? what is the point of this wastegae solenoid?? How does this little system operate? When does the computer tell this little solenoid to actuate?

so why do you need a boost regulator solenoid when u have a wastegate?? and vice-versa?

I believe the boost regulator stops it from going over 7psi.

Budweiser, can you explain the theory behind the boost regulator (its the wastegate solenoid, right). I know it's a solenoid attached to boost referenced line on one of the nipples, and the other to a pre-boost part of the intake stream by the air cleaner. what does it do, and when?

So somebody enlighten me!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Funny how somethngs you cant think of until your not thinking about them. Finally pride reluctance out of myself and came up with the proper solution to problem.
