stock is

16" X 6.5" - 40 with 205/55/16 FRONT/REAR

17" x 7" - 40 with 205/50R17 FRONT17" x 9" - 35 with 235/45/17 REAR

so.... i was wonderinghow this would look on my car....any pics.. or how far rear will stick out...

i know the fronts will look/be okay.how would the 17"X9" look on my car... will it stick out WAY too much?

the body is stock, minus the bodykit and spoiler.suspension is stock, but want to drop it soon. ( after i get some new rims)

because then i can get alignment once instead of twice.

ON THAT NOTEALIGNMENTS....

so to my under standing... any time u change rims, or drop your car, u have to get an alignment...(to stop camber ware) but my brother said... that alignment would be a waste of my money because u can only change toe, with out an camber kit, which his civic 00 and my s14 240's dont have, so its pretty much usuless....

is he correct, and when do u ACTually get get an alignment.tire change/car drop/ hit in to a curb......

BIG THANKS

You might run into some issues with "sticking out".

It depends on a lot of things, ride highttire brandcamberOFFSETetc.

I had 17x9 on all corners of my old s14. They didn't stick out.

You can adjust camber and toe SLIGHTLY with the stock arms/bolts.

Toe kills tire a lot more than camber does.

When you unbolt the suspension parts you should get an alignment after you put them back together.

You might need an alignment based on wheel size.

The rear would look good. I am running a 18x9 with a 35 offset in the rear, with a 275 tire. My rear sits perfectly flush with the top of the quarter. The front would be weak as hell. I got a 18x8 with a 35 offset up front with 20mm spacers, the spacer made the wheels sit perfectly flush. I bought work xd9's from an FC guy, thus the crappy front fitment.

Rear=yes, Front=NO

So the standard offset for S14 would be +15 front and +35 rear? I didn't think there would be that much of a difference between front and rear.

^ It depends on the wheel width as well. I also ran 17x10 fn's with a +25 or something close. The fn's sat just as nice as the xd9's.
