Alright so I've got a 300zx with a stock alarm, and an aftermarket, I've dealt with the dumb aftermarket one, figured out how to get it to stop, but my stock alarm is skitzin on me. Every time I lock my doors, the alarm starts going off about 5 minutes later, what can I do to fix it cheaply (like $20 or less) or remove it, I'm no good with alarm systems.

I'd also like to completely remove the aftermarket system, cuz I think its still draining my battery, any tips for that?

thanx

For the stock one I think there is a fuse for it that will disable just that. I'll dig through the FSM at some point when I have time. The aftermarket one you can probably just pull a fuse off a red wire under the dash and that will kill it. With the factory one though do you have a bad door or trunk switch or something that might be setting it off? Could be related to your battery drain issue.

I'm not sure if I've got a bad switch or what, the courtesy lights go off when I shut my doors, or trunk, but I'm still not completely sure whats up.

Btw my dome lights don't come on either, I think it's just the lamp though. I have had quite a few problems with this car, but she's worth all the trouble she can throw at me. Once I fix the problems, I'll be back on here with stereo questions, I wanna make her have some bump later, but first things first.
