ok, i was looking on ebay for cone filters and i found a nice cone filter with a maf adapter for 23.00 at my doorstep. question is i was looking at the motor today (1990 with ka24e) and contemplating on taking out the a/c system (belt is off, just thinking of removing all that extra weight) and noticed that the stock air box has a hose running off of it. if your looking from the front of the car its on the very left of the box next to the maf running straight up. i dont believe the cone filter i found has any way to hook the hose up so im wondering what it is.

Its called the AIV Valve,You can just plug it up.
