in regards to placement of oxygen sensor. How far away from Turbo does it need to be welded? Also what is the recommended dia for the exhaust pipe??

Really doesn't have to be close to the turbo. I would say within the first 2 feet or so. Where ever you can find a decent amount of room. That's always a problem..

And if you're KA-T, I would say the bigger the better. I'm running 3" from the turbo, back. 2.5" should work just fine if you run into any fitment issues.

well I am useing 3" all the way back, it really helped my spool up time.O2 sensor, my stock sensor is about 8" away and my wide band is about 2' away as per LM1s' instrutions.

I run my stock o2 sensor probably a good 2 or 3 feet away from the turbo, but I have my wideband about 10" away.. that way I get a more accurate reading, this just means your wideband o2 sensor will go bad faster.. probably not that much though.

A sweet company who makes my fav wideband o2 sensor says to mount your WBO2 sensor atleast 18 inch's away from the turbo. WBO2 sensors dont like the heat. That would put your sensor after your downpipe somewhere befor your cat.

6-24" is the reccomended distance from the turbine outlet.
