I just put a lift in my pathfinder at 118k and have all the stock pieces including the springs, front struts replaced at 80k, rear shocks only 2 months old, and rear sway bar (didn't think I needed it).... Anyways all these are for sale, not really sure what I want for them but I paid $90 for the shocks 3 weeks ago from monroe muffler in NH; will try to get pics up later as I am at work right now. Email me at [email protected] if interested..... I will find out what it will cost to ship....

Yep I am truck of the month, im new to these forums.... Those are nice stats you have.... I originally got those rims and tires from a guy on CL, he told me they were for a toyota forerunner and I had the measured and they have a -4.5 backspacing so they stick out quite a bit, stuff pretty good too. They are 31x10.5x15 good year M/S. 99.5 pathy LE with 3" coil lift which for some reason I got 4.5" of lift out of...... Alpine IVA W205, infinity platinum speakers (highs, mids, lows, tweeters), two 12" Solo-Baric L7's, 4000 watt Leagcy amp with 0 gauge wiring, cb, brush guards....... it is a work in progress

15 inch rims fit? dam i thought they wudn't clear the front calipers, and they have a 4.5 inch backspace? the factory backspace is supposed to be 4.75 so if they stick out that far i cant imagine wut my wheels will look like wit a 4 inch backspace. ( i know im saying bakspace but i mean negatice backspace, ive heard the two terms flipped around so many times it wud make my head spin. and sounds like a nice system, these truks are always a work in progress, but they r worth it. lol

To the OP, nice. How many times did you need "rescuing" during your adventure? Also, were you pulling the Jeep, or was he pulling you?

Also, backspacing is backspacing. There is nothing such as positve or negative backspacing. Backspacing is the distance from the BACK edge of the wheel to the mounting face. Unlike offset, that can be + or - depending on where the mounthing surface is in relation to the centerline of the wheel, backspacing is an absolute.

The lower the backspacing, the more the rim will poke or stick out. The higher the backspacing, the more the wheel will tuck.

I have only needed rescuing 2 times this year and I posted pics of both times....., that is my buddies 72 land cruiser with a vortech 350 and I was pulling him out because he broke his rock box. when i say backspacing i am taLKING ABOUT OFFSET....

Oh, now that you mention it and upon looking closer, that is old Toyota. Hope your buddy can get his repairs done quickley and get back out to wheelin'.

This does not make sense. Offset (et) is important and should not be confused with backspacing, because it could head you down the wrong path.

On an 7" wide wheel, with an offset (et) of 0, the wheel will have 3.5" of backspacing. On a 9" wide wheel, with an offset (et) of 0, the wheel will have 4.5" of backspacing. Both wheels have the same offset, but different amounts of backspacing. As offsets begin to increase/decrease, so will the backspacing; which you will need to look out for when you find the next set of "perfect" wheels.

Keep having fun in the snow.

i wanna know how you got 15 inch rims to fit on your pathy, i put em on mine 2day and they rubbed the calipers, are the brakes for a 99 pathy different in the front than for an 03? well the motor in a 99 is the VG33E, smaller than my VQ35DE,i wounder if the brakes are smaller on yours?

Not sure what the difference is if there is any.... I put these tires on after I did a brake job and they didn't rub..... I just got some 33x13.5x15 Interco TSL Super Swampers to put on once I get my 4" SFD in which is being built right now.... getting the SFD kit, new 4-link, longer brake lines, panhard bar drop, extending my driveshaft, custom springs in the rear, front and rear bumpers, skid plates, and rocker guards.... all should be built and put on by the end of this month....

Well they are 2" lift springs from 4x4parts.com but when I put them on I originally got 5.5" of lift and then a week later after the springs settled I measured 4.5" of lift; this is over my stock height too..... the springs were just really stiff......
