NO guide necessary. Just loosen the clamp around the throttle body section of the old tube and the other clamp around the section on the maf. Unhook the vacuum hose on the bottom side of the tube and pull the old one off, re install new one in reverse order.

i just finished and ooo boy am I glad I did this. I've watched a lot of videos about the noise change and everything, but there is nothing like sitting behind the wheel and listening to that roar. Stillen Z Tube big big thumbs up!

I think the larger the space the better... 5/8" is think is the biggest you can go... Im thinking that is the one i will go with when the time comes... But then I need a Mrev2 lol... that is 420 bux more!

The larger gives higher peak HP, the mid-size 5/16, gives broader range of power and is the better choice. You don't drive around at redline all day long. What ever you buy, DO NOT tighten the bolts down in ft lbs. They are tightened in inch lbs. If you don't have a inch lb wrench, just use a socket/screw driver attachment and wear a leather glove. This limits your ability to torque to inch lbs.

+1 on Red's comments! I have the 5/16 spacer and love it! To answer a question in advance, you will not need the MREV2 lower plenum. That is a mod for 05+ "REVUP" engines.
