I just had installed both urethane Stillen wings/spoilers (roof+trunk), however I was a bit concerned about the trunk one since constant vibration and opening-closing the trunk over time might loosen up the double-sided tape and become a highway hazard. So, I also purchased a Sportwing spoiler which looks similar to the Stillen, but it offers a bolt-on approach which makes it safer, and ultimately, a more durable solution in my opinion. The only problem is that the Sportwing is slightly whiter than the factory paint on the QX3 (Winter Frost) A/C, but I just contacted Sportwing/Dawn Enterprises, Inc. through eBay and they said they're willing to do something about it.I don't know what they'll offer me yet, but at least they're willing to do something about it.I removed the Stillen rear spoiler since the body-shop I took it to get it painted did a **** job with it, forgetting to prep and prime (because apparently they thought they were too good to follow the instructions given by the aftermarket-part manufacturer which is this case is Stillen), so the job came out with fish-eyes due to some release agents not being properly removed from the spoiler. Not to mention they INSTALLED the damned things without my permission so of course it came out a bit messed-up. They said they'll fix them so we'll see.Anyways, the following pics are split in 2 numeralized sets. The first set being of the Sportwing (1-5), and the second being a comparison to the Stillen one (6-8).By the way, please excuse the pictures as I have yet to find my digital camera, so I had to once again use my E6 to take pics in full and macro modes.

Set 11- This is just to show how well the spoiler was packaged upon arrival, which a ziplock bag containing bolts, instructions, etc.2- It was wrapped in both, bubble wrap (adhesive), and a scratch resistant micro-fiber cloth that's basically like a sock.3- The spoiler itself in pristine condition with 0 scratches/smudges/imperfections.4- The back of the spoiler which reveals the cushion guards and 3 double sided tape on sides and middle parts for extra added support, especially while installing the bolts.5- A shot of how the spoiler would look when set.

Set 26- Showing the thickness of both spoilers, being almost the same.7- Now here's where they're set apart. The Sportwing is narrower in width than the Stillen is by an inch or so.8- I placed the Stillen spoiler back on my trunk, then placed the Sportwing on top of it to see some differences (aside from the WHITER color lol). The Stillen has sharper corners when compared to the Sportwing, which is why I like the Stillen one a bit better on that aspect.

Overall, I think they're both very similar, especially for those of us that think when going for a spoiler on an A/C, smaller is better.I like the Stillen one, and I love their products, but I really wish they'd come with a bolt-on piece for the trunk for better "peace-of-mind".If I had to choose, I'd go with the Sportwing, but hey, I got both already so when the body-shop fixes their screw-up, and the Stillen is giving me some lip, then I'll give it the axe.But then again, that's just an opinion based on me =PI hope these pictures/post was of some use/help/information to some of you, which would be a far fetch since most likely the majority of you know heaps more about A/C related stuff than me, heheheh.Take care everyone and until next time

I'll tell you what...If that wing was proplery installed it won't be coming off easily. We have a wing on our G35 coupe which we tried to remove once...Until it started bending the trunk lid. That double sided tape is incredibly strong!

I can testify for its strength since I was the one that took it off with some dental floss...and after 4 hours VOILA. lol yeah it took me that long. It's a shame that the shop ruined a perfectly good spoiler for being too arrogant to follow the instructions that came with it. And for setting it up in a friggin' rush (without permission, mind you) so I had to get the wing out before they could try and fix it again since, knowing them, if they were to try and take the wing off themselves, I bet the trunk would've came out with it. Sad to see some places where you pay good money to have things done properly RUSH through everything like maniacs without focusing on detail.
