I have been watching videos on youtube and i think i have changed my mind.

Originally i wanted the nismo exhaust, but i think stillen's sounds 10 times better.

Any difference in weight or performance.

thats for the axle-back. might as well get it cause its a big price difference between the axle-back and the cat-back but your probably only going to get a 2hp gain to the wheel if you got the cat-back. might as well get the axle-back imo but thats up to you. the way i see it with the exhausts is that for every hundred dollars you get a horsepower or 2 if anything. and not to mention, less noise in the vehicle with a axle-back compared to a cat-back cause the pipe runs all the way from the cat converter to the exhaust which meand the pipe is running right below you.

I'll bet the stillen axle-back is louder then the stillen cat-back since the cat-back ADDS a resonator that didn't come on the 3.5 cars...

idk... i thought stillen themselves said there wasnt a significant gain in a catback opposed to axel...

I went with Stillen's cat-back. Nismo's exhaust didnt sound that great to me. Now I just have to wait to get it, since Stillen is awaiting a part to finish mine. Nismo is just too pricey as well.

the stillen cat-back vs the axel back... sounds *significantly* (worth it?) different?

I know you have a 2.5 but I love my Stillen Catback! I like the look of the two mufflers. Sounds nice too! Sound will differ for the 2.5 folks but I'm sure it will still sound quite nice.

Haha, but then when you start a thread about something that has already been discussed some members get in a tizzay. Just saying.

for flow and sound i say stillen... not sure what grade stainless steel the nismo is constructed of but the stillen is made from 409 stainless which means after one winter the pipes become completely rusted in appearance but the polished mufflers and tips hold up well. I have the stillen and if pipe rusting doesn't bother you, it's a great exhaust. If you do get the stillen i know for the sedan it uses slip on style sections not sure about the coupe application but stillen sends steel clamps. i recommend buying some stainless steel clamps because i had to remove my exhaust for warranty purposes and the clamps were rusted along the threads and had to use the impact tool to remove them and of course the threads are no good after that. good luck with your decision.

I would go with the Magnaflow system. I think its better than both and sure is less expensive. I got mine for just over $400 shipped. It is top quality polished stainless, heavy clamps and solid hagers. It has a nice low rumble and opens up in the high RPM range of my V6.

The Nimsmo exhaust sounds really deep and makes the coupe sound FIERCE. When people who havent seen my car before get to hear it they think its awesome.. I was surprised at first because it was so deep but im really happy with how it sounds and i'd Def recommend it... I cant comment on how the stillen one sounds but i can say that the nismo exhaust is really nice

Nismo FTW!

I've had it since November and love it. It has a nice deep yet import type sound too it and while idling or not putting your foot on the gas, you can't hear it at all. It's perfect IMO.
