Wasp my fellow Z enthusiasts, I was just wondering if I can get your thoughts on a problem that I am experiencing right now. After many months of saving up and many months of searching I finally got my 90 Z32 TT a couple months ago. The car isn't in the best condition but I plan on slowly restoring her. The bottom lip on the front bumper is in really tough shape and has a huge crack right down the middle.

I always really liked the Lips Stillen has made for this car and i decided to jump the gun and buy one. I ordered a Stillen Type III lip from Z1 motorsports and had the bumper shipped to my home. I get the package and open it up and to my surprise this lip kinda looks nothing like the one I ordered. The more I look at it the more is starts to look like the one I ordered but something was off. Then I realized that the vents on both sides of the lip where the ducts are supposed to be, are both gone. it actually looks like they have been cut off. :wtf2: I am very confused, it says nothing on there website about the ducts being gone and it certainly did not give me option to choose whether I wanted them off or on. Am i missing something here? If anyone can please share some insight on this subject or if you have had any experince like this please let me know. Below i will link down the URL of my bumper. A picture of what the lip is upsides to look like and how my lip looks like.

Did you call Z1? They may have sent you a NA lip, not sure if there is really a difference. Call them and talk with them. If it is not what you ordered or what is pictured, they should fix it for you.

Many people get the Type III lip confused. TT lips do NOT have inter-cooler grill, they are open vents over the oem horizontal grills. NA have the grills built into the lips. If you put a NA lower lip on a TT bumper cover, the grills may over lap each other. Here is a good pic from COZ site:
