Stillen supercharger (G35)

Researching superchargers, just read a little on the Stillen supercharger. any personal reviews? also what is everyone lowering there compression to when putting on forsed induction

i am running the procharger supercharger!! its great.. fully intercooled! i boost around 8psi... great for a daily driver.. i do have an upgraded fuel system which is highly recommended for that upgrade!! my car is up to about 380rwhp on pump gas without my nitrous! also the vortech has a great system too

The Stillen system is great, however you must modify or replace your hood. That fact alone destroys the price advantage compared to other FI systems. Vortech is CARB legal (not sure about ProCharger), as is the Stillen up to stage 2. No turbo system is CARB legal, but they have the most gains. Unfortunately, they are also the most expensive.

Most people don't lower the compression with FI, as this will reduce the HP gains. The VQ35 is good until about 400rwhp before things start to break....though no FI system is truly safe.

stillen is the most reliable one but its just reliable because it doesnt make alot of power, i believe the stage 4 only puts out about 340 or 350whp if you want more then that your going to have to look into vortech or procharged

Trust me dont waist your money with the stillen as i had it for 4 years at stage4.When i installed my greddy twins at the base 5.5 wastegate spring pressure it would have killed my 8psi stillen.
