I just received an email full of great Stillen discounts (see image below)!

Of course I get excited until I read the following at the bottom of the email:*Urethane Discounts are not applicable to '08 Altima Coupe or '07-'08 Altima Sedan Urethane*

Seriously Stillen, do you want my business or not?

I just got that email too and there's nothing on there for us. I bought a couple of things yesterday and was about to call and ask why I didn't get anything on sale ....I know now.

As am I. I made a post recently about the Stillen 08 coupe urethane prices rising and Kyle from Stillen replied that the current economy and gas prices are to blame.

What makes absolutely no sense to me is how they can lower the prices on all their other urethane products but not the Coupe. It's the same materials guys...

Once the Stillen guys (or rather if they ever) have a sale on the Altima Coupe urethane products, I'm definitely in for a fascia and rockers.

Like I've said in the past, I've ordered from them before and their customer service is like none other, but come on guys with the pricing! You want to make up that R&D money, lets see the specials!

Hey, ADKS, you know the Fascia and side skirts are on special. It could be worse, they could be their regular price.

just saw same email and apparently they also have a sale on sway bars...just so happened to have placed an order for one but didn't see any special price...will have to send an email tomorrow unless i find some fine print that excludes the AC from that one as well...as a side note, anyone interested in an intake can have it for $192.xx right now

emailed this morning got the following response..."The Altima sway bar price is not affected."...oh well, was willing to buy at listed price before the sale email went out, was worth a try though

That "sale" price is still more than $20 than what the prices were before the price increase. I have a screenshot of a cart on the Stillen website to prove it. I was going to buy, but then the prices shot up all of a sudden and now I'm waiting until they drop them again. If not, I'll continue to hold out for in dev NISMO parts.

They can lower the price of the rest because the other kits aren't selling. Its simple economics. The a/c fascia is selling like wildfire, so the price stays up to recoup the most money they can from developing it. The other body kits are slow right now, so the lower price will incise buyers

Hey Guys,

We haven't been able to lower the A/C or A/S fascia kits because of the cost in building these. It took us something like 10 weeks to make the fascia for the coupe (if I remember correctly.) We have over $50,000.00 invested in that fascia and I assure you...We are nowhere near recouping that money haha. Basically that particular fascia cost us so much that we just can not afford to discount it along with the other parts. The other thing to consider is that the A/C and A/S both have two piece molds that are very intricate. They were extremely expensive and time consuming to build.

With that being said...If I can put something together, how many people would be interested in a group buy price on the fascia and rockers? I don't want to gaurantee anything because as you can see my manager's don't want to lower the price due to the large investment. But, if I can get like 20 people or so on board for say a 15 or 20% discount (purely speculative) I might be able to get something going...

Also, I asked the same question...Why are raising the prices of urethane just to offer a 20% discount two weeks later??? I didn't understand that one either...

Kyle@Stillen & Adidas2go,

Understood- I'm just cheap and waiting for a good sale. Was going to buy before when the products were originally released and much cheaper but didn't have the funds at the time due to other modifications. Kyle, I can only speak for myself, but I definitely appreciate the fantastic commitment you guys at Stillen have to helping us here at NICOclub!

Kyle will have to answer about just the rocker or fascia or front lip. I'm in for both the front fascia and rockers.EDIT: Kyle has confirmed the group buy would be for the front fascia only.

word...i live in canada... more expensive shipping, more expensive duty fees, more expensive labour for paint and install

Kit - 500Shipping - 50?duties- ?Paint + Install - 400 (average in calgary)

probably more then a grand at the end , new set of rims sounds like a better idea :O
