Yea fox marketing "randomly" came out with that kit after Stillen made its computer generated rendering many months ago

Also the ground clearance remains the same from front to rear with the Stillen kit

Thanks Warner..

No, they are definitely level, and match the depth of the front fascia. The shot being used there is really not my favorite, but sometimes when you're under the gun, and don't have the parts on (and folks want stuff quickly.. ) you go with what you have.

The reason I'm not super fond of this is the angle.. the shot you're seeing is a studio shot, literally from on the ground, which gives the appearance of the car being off the ground a lot more than it is.

If shot from the normal viewing angle (just above the roof), you'd get a much more accurate feel for them.. they are very clean.

Josh...Question... My coupe came with the OEM mud flaps. After installing these, can the mud flaps be put back on if I so desired and also do these side skirts hang down further than the OEM rocker skirts?

lol.. to be honest, I'm not sure anyone even thought of mud flaps during the design of the rockers.. probably due to us being in California, and seeing mud flaps on a car is definitely a rare sight.

I suppose the question would be how the mud flaps attach to the OEM skirts, and the contours of them.

Once we have a set on the vehicle, I can take some detailed photos which should offer more insight into those.

These do hang a touch lower, I don't have the exact specs, but they are not dramatically lower, I'm sorry if I gave that impression.

No worries...if everything works out for me, my butt will be sunny Las Vegas and not in the great north east where we've had absolutely crappy weather now for a month!

Here's a pic of my coupe from the side. That piece in the front is the mudflap and it blends very well with contour of the car. Some people miss it cause it blends that well.

I like the styling of the rockers definitely but I also like how my coupe looks with the OEM rockers too. BTW,..does that hole go all the way through to the back of the skirt? I guess I have until end of March to make up my mind on this...

**Edit**Looking more closely at my mud flap and your rocker it almost appears that the design of your rocker integrated the mud flap....interesting.

don't all of the rockers have that bulge at the front? Are you sure that's a mud flap? I can see how it would be designed to stick out a bit more.. but I'm honestly wondering if that's any different from all of them?

There is a splash guard/ mud flap that slaps over that area and makes that bulge. There is one in the back, behind the wheel on the bumper, as well. Some models don't have them on, and the "bulge" is way less pronounced.

You can see pictures on nissan-usa clearly show some with the flaps and some without.

"defiantly".. I do not think that word means what you think it means.. (movie quote.. sorry.. had too)

that's really interesting.. we will have to investigate.. but I'm not sure ours is different than Blakes, which I'm guessing has the bulge?

yea the spell check always corrects definitely to defiantly when i spell it wrong. I imagine your 4 cylinder will be different than the v6 considering the packages involved? If mines any different than yours we can just do a test fit next week and see where we stand

When you add flex agents to paint plastics it can look alittle different then on flat metal areas...also the curves tend to change how it looks...If it matches at the seams and from a distance in the sun then the paint job was done well..and your welcome

Mud flaps are the little things behind the wheel that drop down about an inch or two below the rockers - on our cars the factory mud/splash guard is factory color and almost looks like the beginnings of a mini skirt or kit.

Addidas - you must be thinking about big black rubber squares.

Yeah it was fixed. It's probably how the light was hitting it. it was really bad before but now it's good. Believe me...take it from a guy who is OCD about almost everything!

Question for the Josh or Kyle:

Do you guys know what dimensions are for the new side skirt? I need to know the width measurement from the top of the skirt (where the door and the rocker meet) to the bottom of the skirt. Hopefully it's the same dimensions cuz if its lower, I'm not going to get my floor jack underneath to do maintenance on the coupe

Also, where you able to get any more info from your design team to see if the new skirts "incorporate" the mud flaps / splash guards?
