well hello my friends, as ya'll know i was gonna install a stillen short throw in my g35..well today was the day, where to start....hmm, let me start off by saying this, PLEASE READ THE INSTRUCTIONS OVER CLOSELY!! i messed up and broke a screw, now i have to go buy and extractor drill bit and hopefully be able to take it out. i didnt read the torque right, it said inches not pounds"yes i know, jack ***" well now i have a broken screw inside the slide plate. ill go ahead and run ya'll thru what i did, other than that broken screw everything went good.

tools- socket wrench, assorted sockets, pliers, hammer, lithium grease.

i found this great site that will show u everything in order, its for a 350z but its was the same stuff i found on my g, ill put the site on the bottom. i did have to jack my car up to get underneath. any other questions yall free to ask ill try my best to answer them. oh by the way, in that web site i found my service manual for my car, very helpfull and free!!

not a bad write up on the Z forum there. but they forgot a very important step which it may have in the instructions for the actual shifter but not on the write up. but when you take off your knob you need to hold the actual shift rod in place so you dont twist it inside the transmission.
