are you talking about the drilled/slotted ones?

I dont know about the price difference, but if the stillen rotors are more expensive i probably wouldnt use them. You might see if you could get a set of brembo blanks for the car, they are cheaper and OEM quality if not better than OEM...

you dont need a drilled or slotted rotor because you probably arent going ot be pounding on the brakes.

you could consider getting your rotors turned, thats about as good as getting new ones.

I've had bad luck with resurfaced rotors on my R50. They always warp and shake at high speeds and under hard braking. The small discs on a 5000 lb car with drums in the back just don't do it justice. I purchased some brand new Mountain brake rotors for my R50 from http://www.importRP.com at only $40 each. They have a wide variety of brands, ranging from $30 each to $90 each.

(their website only shows Brembo, OPparts, and BPI but if you call, they will give you the entire list)

Spend the extra few bucks and save yourself some headache, trust me.

yes, go blank, the drilled/slotted rotors are like cheese graters to your pads.... beware of the cd/slotted ones on ebay, because those people buy blanks and then drill them theirselves in some garage, and those are prone to cracking within 5000 miles.
