with the stillen roof wing for me at least i replaced the tape that it originally came with for security reason.

just peeled of the old & put on new tape. heard that some peoples roof wings flew off with the stock tape

but theres nuttin really that you could do to secure it more then that.

Bought mine on ebay... Just make sure you clean the window very well. I would buy your own M3 tape to make sure it doesnt come off.

I still find it unreal that this thing is held on completely by 3M tape. It kind of reminds me of the old school window deflectors that stick to the outside of cars.

ya few days ago i noticed that my roof wing was getting loose, so i took it off. I need to 3M tape and then put it on again. i highly recommend removing the original tape that came with it. it sucks

On the subject of Stillen roof wings -- Does anyone know whether the wing for the 2009 AC will also fit the 2010?

Could you tell me which 3M tape you chose? I need to retape my Stillen trunk spoiler. Appreciate it!

Yeah the stillen wing for 08-09 will fit a 2010 without a problem. They really only changed the front for the '10s.
