Are you talking about the lightweight pulley from Stillen? If So I've had mine for over a year now and it doesn't give you HP gain like an underdrive pulley would do. The pulley is made from a lighter material thereby giving the motor less weight mass to turn thereby freeing up HP. It's almost the same concept of putting on lighter wheels..less rolling mass. In this case it would be turning mass..

The pulley for the 3.5 is an underdrive pulley. The pulley for the 2.5 was JUST lightweight and not underdrive.

Size, if its underdriven, its using less power tward the aux stuff in the car (stereo, ac, etc)... The pulley is actually physically SMALLER (idk why i typed that larger lol).

The 2.5 pulley is not under driven... Dangeris is mistaken. I have the 2.5 pulley which only has a weight difference, the 3.5 pulley is underdriven, and less weight.

I stand corrected. 2.5 is lightweight vs. 3.5 is underdrive. Here's the original thread that was created on Jan. 29, 2009 by Stillen when they first came out. All your questions about the pulley and the differences between can be found here
