so guys, roof wing, yes or no?kidatheart wrote:I did a quick look to see if this was already posted and didn't see it but if it was and I missed it, sorry for the dupe...
I got an e-mail today from Stillen that the parts on the Stillen Atlima Coupe are now available for sale as follows:
$219.38 roof wing$228.11 front lip spoiler$219.38 deck wing
They are up on the site now as well.
No. It's a FWD car and you don't need any more down force on the rear wheels.mcheddadi wrote:

not for function man! duh! i'm talking about style, I'm no rally racerSHIFT_2.5S wrote:

What color are you gonna paint it? and when you get it, take tons of PICS! lol2brian0 wrote:Just ordered my front lip spoiler but I'm with mcheddadi, not sold on the rear roof spoiler. I like the way it flows with the Stillen rear deck spoiler but I already have a spoiler on my rear deck and am not sure how it will look. If it were special priced (maybe $150) like the front, I might pick it up but not paying full price for something I'm not sure of. (hint hint stillen) On another note, I wish they would have focused more on getting their 3.5 exhaust out before these...
Absolutely! If you can find a garbage truck, or maybe a Kia that wants to race, that extra downforce will really help. "Extreme racing conditions" don't apply to a front heavy front wheel drive "wannabe" like the Altima coupe. STYLE, that's the thing, that's the reason to own the coupe, and the reason to get the wing. That, and some neon lights...mcheddadi wrote:

you think people buy powerful cars because they absolutely need the power? no, its one part because they can and others can't, and another part because its cool to have the higher end model. its not like I'm gonna tow stuff around , or in the case of the roof wing, need additional downforce, If I just tilt my moon roof i'll generate more downforce than that roof wing
oh and by the way, what you said about it being a FWD car so it doesn't need any more weight on the back wheels, that's so wrong, the weight distribution is 67/33, so its a lot more heavy in the front and will tend to Understeer a lot more in extreme racing condition, so adding more down force to the back is the best idea to be closer to the 50/50 ratio
but anyways like I said, I'd buy the roof wing for style more than for function anyways
yo watch itOrmand wrote:Absolutely! If you can find a garbage truck, or maybe a Kia that wants to race, that extra downforce will really help. If I had wanted a coupe, I would have bought one. I would have paid cash, just like I did for my sedan. But since I have an IQ over 99, and no need at all to try to impress the folks in the ghetto, I bought a car that made sense.notaverage wrote:

Jealous of the coupe, LoL
You've just won a 1 week ban.Ormand wrote:If I had wanted a coupe, I would have bought one. I would have paid cash, just like I did for my sedan. But since I have an IQ over 99, and no need at all to try to impress the folks in the ghetto, I bought a car that made sense.
DA*N, u got the windshield tinted too???2brian0 wrote:To answer your question mcheddadi (now that the rear roof wing debate has died down), I have a black coupe so it will be black. I'm the one that posted the original thread on painting the chrome mustache. Since I painted that, I also had my headlights (in addition to my tails) smoked and just recently had my full windsheild tinted 38% (which by the way makes my window that were already 5% even darker). While my mustache turned out pretty good, I'm going to let the pro's handle painting my front lip and installing it. I also figure that while it's in the shop, I'm going to have them redo my mustache and paint my honeycomb black. My only debate at this point is whether I should have them paint the front hamburger black as well or leave it for contrast. I say this only because if I had my way, I would replace the whole grill with a clean black one without an emblem but since that isn't an option yet...Oh and I will definitely post pics.
serkle k.....good point about the dot matrix and tint.....the only place mine looks funky (and you have to look hard to see it) is at the top where the wing would cover it up. You've given my something else to consider....Still just don't know how it will flow with the spoiler I already have. Too bad I have no skills when it comes to photoshop.
Could u post pictures of ur tinted head lights while the headlights are on?i want to know what it looks like while the head lights are on espeically with HIDs, i dont wanna lose to much light vision by tinting it2brian0 wrote:To answer your question mcheddadi (now that the rear roof wing debate has died down), I have a black coupe so it will be black.
