Okay so i'm in between two exhausts. The Nismo or the Stillen. i know majority of the people here have stillen. but i also know that nismo is a great brand and its cheaper than the stillen exhaust. only $75 though. what do you guys think?

Oooh, tough choice. I love the way both sound. What are the claims by NISMO?

Nobody with STILLEN has been disappointed though, that much i do know...

Stillen...but I'm biased. Let me say this...when I was shopping for an exhaust, I considered Stillen, HKS, and Nismo. The Stillen was the best bang for the buck. Really, it came down to the top two power-wise, Stillen and HKS. However, the HKS one is more expensive for the same HP #'s (but those tips are hot!)

My 350Z friend told me to stay away from the Stillen. Something about the sound. Could be that I wanted a clean bass note. Not sure. He's gone through at least 5 exhausts so far and he works for Infiniti, so I trust his judgement.

Still trying to decide on mine.

Why don't you come down a bit south and you can hear the Stillen on a Coupe? The sound is

The sound preference is subject to different tastes. There was a link that had sound clips posted a while ago...you could always youtube it to hear one.

You going to join us for the next meet? Then we all can hear it. Yerv's is pretty hot. My wife even commented on it. It's so nice having a wife that can appreciate things like exhaust hehehehe

Hey Andy, I remembered you had a fujita, did you switch to a new pipe? I have some new filter/heat sheild on the way...

Are you running your stock airbox now with the K&N...

Nismo adds between 10-15 and is around 8-10lbs lighter than stock.

BrandAidDesignG35 - Nah, I used to have the Fujita but my car didn't like it. Ran too lean so cut the pipe in half and now use it with stock airbox and K&N. When I get around to it i'll probably get the Stillen airbox.

I don't know which is the best. But I do know that with the Stillen, you will end up wearing out your front brakes, much faster than you anticipated. The sound is so sweet, that you will end up revving the car all day. Thus, you will need brakes to stop the car. All you need to do with a Stillen is to stomp on the gas pedal. I can't tell you how many times I have scared other drivers with the sick sound of the Stillen. In addition, wait until you get into a road tunnel with other cars, and then you stomp the gas pedal, OMG, you will be King of the road for 2 seconds.I am replacing my brakes tomorrow, much earlier than I anticipated, because of the new mods, which include the Stillen exahust.

Has anyone got, or can they link to any dyno numbers for the various exhausts? I'm really a skeptic about the HP claims the manufacturers make. Typically, they add other mods to the point that the exhaust is the bottle neck, dyno it and then add their exhaust and dyno it. Viola, big numbers. (Or so I've been told). I'd like to see a stock G before and after dyno sheet. Anyone? I'm just a pessimist, and a pessimist is just an optimist without facts.

And Stealin doesn''t?

In either case, get it from Joe at the best price.
