Why are you guys paying people to install your spoilers for you? It takes all of 10 minutes at most! I did it myself. My hubby helped with the roof wing and the front spoiler, but that was only because 1. I was too short to reach the top of the roof wing, 2. I needed his braun to help pull the front spoiler piece over the bumper near the wheel wells on the car... But 10 mins! Seriously! Save yourselves some cash and install the dangum things yourself. It doesn't take a rocket scientist or even a bodyshop dude to figure it out.

And the double sided tape will hold it on. do you think Stillen would give us a product that would not hold to the car? I don't think so.

Save yourself some cash!

That seems a bit steep for something so simple. I wonder if any of the shops here in Calgary would be cheaper....

ESP, perhaps i was unclear, the price is 600, for the parts, painting and installation. Considering the parts run around 300, i thought the price was fair. Oh and Canadian Coupe, in answer to your question, the shop is aero auto parts, over on 50th.

Actually we used Rustoleum.... J/K!!! Of course we didn't PAINT the parts. I had my Lip Spoiler, Roof Wing, and Rear Spoiler all painted to match (CODE K50) the car color for $275.00 out the door. Job was done beautifully by a Body Shop.

I did say "INSTALL" not "Paint and Install" in my original post.

My body shop even knew how to paint the urethane products appropriately with the correct methods, pretreaters, primers, etc to adhere to the material correctly. Its great when you have a good body shop available who is known throughout the Corvette world for having the utmost skills and quality of services.

If any of you are in the Metro Phoenix area, feel free to contact me for the information. Im getting ready to order the side skirts so I will be having them PAINT the parts for me again. but they will NOT be installing them. lol.

Later guys and gals,

~T~

i concur with installing your own when u can...noone can care for a child like its parent!..it just i get scared with painted parts...if handled wrong...im afarid you can spider vien the paint by bending incorrectly or something...with some stuff i let the "experts" deal with it instead of me doin in and havin to call in a "cleaner" to finish the job!....nice work tho....nothing hotter than a chick who loves to get dirty with thier machines!...hail danica!!!!!
