I asked the body shop the same question about the four screws and they said that they followed the directions to the tee from stillen with the exception of some added reinforcement behind the fascia. plus, you can only see them if you get down as far as i did to take the pic, so im not that upset.

as for the mesh, it is there. it looks much more noticeable in person the pics dont do justice.im very happy that i got it. the sun was starting to go down and i just got a couple of quick shots.

Thanks, and i actually just looked through some of the other threads and noticed that with some stillen fascias you can see the four screws but its harder to see because most of the cars on here with it are much darker in color then mine.

its all one color. but even in person, with the angles of the bumper, when light hits it it looks like there are darker gray accents. that is one thing i really liked about this color when i bought the car.

looks good bro, no bumper sag at all. I would recommend painting the clips black or darker grey. Then they may be harder to see. You can see them in every pic

yeah i thought about that too. not sure if i would be able to paint them now that the fascia is on the car though. they are pretty far behind it and the opening is not that big. maybe a long sharpe marker

those four screws are actual what hold the original support bracket that's behind the original bumper, when replacing the bumper you need to connect it to the fascia without it out get that wonderful bumper sag which i myself forgot to put on

I cant remember the exact price but i got the fascia and rockers during the sale in august. ( so i think around 8-850). the grille inserts were 65 or so.

and i have the pro kit on that i bought during the GB. the wheel gap doesnt look as small as on other cars on here b/c I still have my stock 17" wheels and tires, but believe me, its low, i almost scraped leaving the body shop

bmore... its not hard to drop the top half of the bumper giving you access to paint those screws... maybe go back to the shop and see if they will take care of it for free

very nice!! looks great.

I'm surprised it takes a full week though to be near completion. is that typical?

also, do you mind sharing the install/paint cost which you were charged? Just curious how much something like that costs.

thx

it took a week b/c i didnt have an appointment and it was a friend who did it. the actual install only took like a day and a half, one to paint and a few hours to install. but since my company gives me a vehicle for work i told them to keep it until it was finished.

also, b/c it was a friend who did it my price probably isnt too accurate to what most would pay which was $350 for paint and install

Yep, looks good but you need to adjust your hood to lessen the gap.

Thanks a lot. i will try that tomorrow. i didnt know that could be done. but does it mess with how the lines of the hood meet with the fenders on the sides?

I do like the way this kit looks but....I haven't seen it yet without a much larger gap in between the hood and bumper than stock. It looks really big on this one also.

Is there any way to close the gap a bit more?

thanks a lot for the tip. twisting the rubber knobs ( for lack of better term) helped a lot. no pics now. still want to paint the support brace behind the grille black before i take more.

you ever get that grill brace painted. If so, POST MORE PICS. lol

If you can, please take a pic from the side. From around this angle. If you do, I will photoshop loops hood on your car. Thank you
