Stillen Intake? Nismo Intake?

anyone have it? how's the quality? anyone have an ETA on the Nismo intake?

IDK if either intake is out but from my expirience f#&k the eta at least from nissan, I ordered my nismo exhaust on the 12th and still no eta so far but im also interested in the nismo intake too so if anyone does have it post some pics

I just straight piped from the axle back at 2.25" and kept the original tips... it growls like a v8 lol... the throttle response is great! I kept the resonator because I didn't wanna sound like a honda, and the shop recommended I keep the 2.25" piping the same fromt he resonator back because it would let out too much... I was gonna spend the money on the nismo, but this works just as good and the throttle response is great on the low end and the high end just pulls and howls... super sexy mang... haha and best of all it's still stock to some extent - without a muffler tho. lol

plus, the nismo exhaust is s-tuned... and I wanna keep it r-tuned all the way, no need to accomodate the cops or environment for my enjoyment =]

true the exhaust is s-tuned along with all the parts except the CAI...you have it switched though...as the r-tuned are illegal not s-tuned

It is on the list of future Nismo products for the coupe. Also, the Stillen intake is out only for the 3.5L coupes and sedans.

Most, if not all, of the r-tune parts are not D.O.T. approved and thus are intended for off road use only. And all nismo parts maintain your warranty.

Yes and no. According to Nissan, R-tune products do not carry any kind of warranty. S-tune products only carry a warranty when installed by a dealer.

As to how it affects the rest of your factory warranty (engine, drivetrain, etc.), I think all Nismo parts are in the same boat as any other aftermarket part: if they can link it to the failure, the warranty goes out the window.

thats what I meant, that I don't wanna keep it legal and be restricted (with s-tuned products) and just go (balls out with) r-tuned - I think I wrote it kind of confusing lol but we're on the same page lol I think...
