Stillen Headers 2.5s

So i just got the headers in today and i took a look under my car and i noticed that the 2nd O2 sensor is about a foot and half away from where stillen said to relocate the O2 sensor. well my question is anybody that has installed it in there car was the wiring kit long enough? and my other question is do you really have to cut the B pipe and add that flange? yeah i know it says it will not throw the SEL light. but i wanna know is if i dont modify the B pipe and the SEL light comes on will it affect my cars performence?

well got done with the headers and only came up to one problem!! as i was taking off the bolt for the positive lead to the alternator it just snapped right off!! the part was the plate that delievers power to the battery. paid 80 buck for the plate and then finished up on the headers. the wireing kit that stillen gave me was too short so i didnt cut the B pipe and didnt move the 2nd O2 sensor. with everything done i felt alittle difference in power but its defentaly louder coming out my stillen cat back! and not too loud in the car but could deffenatly tell a difference in sound . heres some pics.

You used a new exhaust manifold gasket right? Just wondering because if not you will get leaks.

Na I didn't. But I been checking for leaks like every other day and I don't smell anything. Oh and it took 3 days for my SEL to come one.

Looking into getting the headers soon so thanks for all the info! Are there any problems that can come up from not cutting the b pipe and not moving the O2 sensor like you did? Also where can I get a new exhaust manifold gasket?

The only problem was me breaking the positive bracket on my alternator so be careful! Not cutting the b pipe cut the time in half. For some reason the wiring kit from Stillen was to short so that's why I didn't modify the b pipe. I think it would be long enough for the coupe. Just go to auto zone to get a new gasket but it will take like a week to get there so order in advanced

Last thing for me is . . .

This is all reversible right? If I need to put stock back on for smog when its due?

Or does modifying that pipe not allow for stock to go back on properly?

It should be straight bolt on for coupes, on the sedans however we gotta modify our exhaust a bit.

Exaust gasket you'll have to get separate. Its like 50 bucks at the dealer I'm not sure about an auto parts store
