Post

So I've done my research and have seen the old posts but now that some time has passed from then, I'm hoping people's opinion have developed and that the time has allowed for them to develop a more in depth opinion. I'm strongly considering getting this for my coupe but a couple of issues are holding me back. Mainly:
1. Warning light going off because of sensor?
2. Ease of installation? I've read about the extra welding done, but not needed? Would like clarification
3. Effects on the sound of the car? I already have an exhaust and would like to know what effects I can expect.
4. Unknown? What are people's general opinion on this upgrade in terms of reliability and performance.

THANKS NICO! :dblthumb:

1 . Warning lights may go on for exaample the SES light due to the second sensors location. Some of us got lucky and the light does not turn on. Not a big deal though

2. If you have prior experience in working with tools, this should be easy to install. Its a bit time consuming but its worth doing it correct the first time instead of taking short cuts. No extra welding is needed.

3. Expect the car to get louder after installing the header. Mainly is when you step on it at high rpm. Other than that, it would increase sound just a bit if you baby the car.

4. Performance wise, get it asap you won't regret it! But reliability, it really depends on the person. Somce have no problems, some do like me. I track my car very often and it actually caused part of the top header to have an exhaust leak because of it. So I had to weld all around it.

4.

Great info thanks el_blacky06! Gonna be grabbing the header myself sometime before the end of the year along with some other stuff.
