Congrats!! You're going to enjoy the added sound and power I'm sure!

As far as install goes, did they not send you instructions? It should be pretty straightforward.

The only DIY we have is for a similar product so it can't be that different

I'm sure others will chime in who have done this though to give you additional pointers!

hi, you would get more responses if you posted in the right section for what you are looking for. http://forums.g35club.org/zeroforum?id=262

i dont know the specifications but i heard that you have to cut your inside of the bumper i believe to install it.

what whiz said if you purchased from stillen you should have instructions provided.

but anyways here is the link for it, if you havent read it already..

I've been debating which intake to get...let us know your opinion on how it is once installed!

I've had mine installed since July last year and I love it!

I didn't do the install myself. I had the Infiniti dealership do it so there would be no way they could come back and say that something that happened to the engine was due to the intakes and therefore isn't covered. If they did the install it is covered under warranty.

At normal speed, just cruising around, the throatiness is a little noticeable but people on the sidewalks and in other cars won't know anything is different. However, when the RPMs get above the 4500 range people will start looking and when it gets over the 6000 range people will be running for cover

I love the way it sounds, I end up driving around in DS mode with the sunroof open and the stereo off just so I can here it rev. It definitely hasn't helped my gas mileage any. As far as power I can't honestly say I noticed any difference but I'm just happy with the deeper sounding acceleration.

It has made me consider the Stillen exhaust more and more now...

I had them clean the filters at the 30K service even though they weren't due just to see how they looked ( about 7K on them). The only dirty part on the filters was the tops - the guards they give block most of the grime pretty well.

spacy9 - did Mike Ward install the intake for you? I'm not mechanically inclined, at least for cars, but once my G is a little older I'm thinking about putting an intake on it as a first enhancement (besides the tinting and bra). Being new, having the dealer install it so I don't mess with warranties sound good.

Yep, it was Mike Ward. Mine was the first one they did so they charged me 4 hours labor to do it, which I thought was high, but I didn't have to mess with it and they did a good job. With me being the Guinea Pig it might be cheaper for you I've talked to Arend (service manager at Mike Ward) a couple of times about it and he is going to be putting one on his car soon.

well all sounds like very good news the instructions come with it yes and u have to widen the holes for the tubes to go through like his picture it shows they go under the fascia but thats no big deal im debating on having infiniti do it or not thats the whole thing the warranty this is big for me i got 16000 miles on my car and i need to get my 10000 fogs put in so i might have them do it all in one shot the instructions are straight forward and the only reason why i want to do it myself would be my pride and that i can challenge myself to something like this im glad to hear everyone likes the product though thank you guys

I'll stick with short ram style intakes...But it does look like you have an FI kit.
