I'm looking for a nice loud exhaust... something that will have a nice sporty sound.. but compliment the nice roar of the G...

I have the 04 sedan ... it is only a single pipe which is the only reason I considered the rounder... single pipe look of the Greddy!

I would probably get the Gen 1 because it's louder... but any comments or suggestions are always appreciated...

i've got the quiter gen 2 and it's perfect for me loud enough and performs great. i think if it were much louder i might get annoyed. if you want loud go with the gen 1 and some intake mods.

You could always get a coupe mid-pipe!

What is the gains with the coupe pipe hp wise? I've heard the stillen high flow cats are pretty mean, but also clean...

Get the stillen. True dual exhaust with one mufler. The gains are amazing and has a very sport roar without sounding beaner. I have it and love it. Best investment you can make for the sedan.

Gen 2. I don't think they really sell the gen 1 anymore. They have it on the web site but if you call them they really don't say much about it. But they will romance on and on about the gen 2. I love mine. You will get looks of envy. Not the look of ricey disgust like when a honda or vw drives by with an annoying coffee can exhaust.

If your looking for a louder exhaust go with gen 1, but if your looking for a more refined exhaust...considering you a have a luxury car...I would go with the gen 2, which is still plenty loud under full throttle....

has anyone heard both a mid-pipe mod and gen 1 or 2 side by side? I have the mid-pipe and I am wondering where it falls compared to gen 1 and 2 stillen

Don't forget the Borla exhaust. Its dual as well and less than the stillen. A cheaper route would be coupe mide pipe w/HKS rear section.

Thanks... I would get the gen 1 I think, but the most important thing is power is the same I guess anyway, where can I find a cheaper coupe mid pipe... I don't want to have to pay 600 bucks from stillen for the high flow cat replacements. although I would love it. I just find I'm getting tight for cash right now tuning this thing up. my mind is ahead of my wallet I think. thanks

You can get cheaper parts but some only last like 6 months. Stillen is the quality choice. You have an expensive luxury car. Parts cost a little more. You don't have to buy everything at once. Take your time and put on quality parts.

No, I don't want ghetto parts on my luxury vehicle/ skyline... I agree...

I tried that twice and learned with an impotent altima not starting in driveway... oh well, in time we learn I guess right I'll be working on it tomorrow and planning to sell it soon...

Anyway, I want stillen gen 2 exhaust with coupe mid pipe or stillen high flow "legal" cats... I don't rush anything without research, and support from members of this forum or other G owners experiences..
