I dont see why you couldnt install it. Someone put it on at the plant in tennessee. I worked right being where they did it, didnt look to hard. I see no reason why you couldnt do it

that was my original plan to just get it painted and install it with my friend. the guy at the collision place said it probably wouldnt fit and the paint would most likely crack while i was trying to put it on.

If the paint cracks then THEY DID A TERRIBLE JOB

The point of polyurethane is that it can bend without breaking, and shops add flex additive to the paint to ensure that it doesn't crack when bent.

They are full of sh*t. They want more of your money.

Where are you located?

i agree with alpha, they just want more money, they are trying to scare you into having you take it to them to do it.

Yo its not hard at all to install its about $300-500 to paint it the less you pay the more chips you see from my experience..... I paid less than $300 and have several noticable chips :frown:

You need to hit up Matt aka stretch aka phenom aka tallest mo-fo on this forum. Him or Brian (LBC) and or Matt A (Matt609) they all live in NY area and should be able to recommend you a good shop. But your shop is just trying to rip you off dont go back.
You can Private Message them or you can find them on my facebook [email protected]

big rigs trying to call him out on that lol

Stillen front fascia is pretty easy to install, its all just clips except for the screws in the wheel well (one in each side) and then a couple screws at the bottom to connect the splash guard in the wheel well to the bottom of the fascia. everything else is clips. I paid $150 or $160 for mine to get painted WITH custom work done to the grill. only problems I've had are from when I hit someone and on the custom part where the bondo cracked a little cuz I took my fascia off like and like literally 30 times to mess with my lights and wasnt careful with the fasica when it was off the car. polyurethane bends and moves around a lot. bondo doesnt. leaving it thrown in awkward positions caused a tiny bit of cracking.
