So I just picked up my black painted Stillen Front Fascia from the paint & body shop. They covered the pieces in paper to protect it from scratches wich is good. I just unwraped them in my garage and this is what I see. Please tell me im just trippen and this can be fixed.

mine did the same thing. it was actually alot worse on the upper piece. once i put it together and on the car and let it sit in the sun for a few days it worked itsself back to shape.

Aight, now I am chaning the subject here. The instructions say to unplug the OEM lights, which I am assuming are the foglights. How and where do I do this?

You might wanna check out the FAQ/How to sticky. There's instructions on removing the bumper, it's good info

What happened is that's where they hung the piece to be painted. Not the ideal method as thats the immediate results.

Good news is it's urethane, and smithersbpr is absolutely right (man your car looks really great!), some time in the sun will send it back to it's molded shape.

Guess what statik, I just picked up my painted kit today too! I also have that little bump on the front lip because when my lip was unpainted, it stayed in the box for too long

My kit had a problem like this that seemed to go away as soon as I installed it. However the only problem I am currently having is that the bottom and top pieces don't line up correctly towards the middle but it's no biggy at all, hardly noticeable

I gota be honest with you guys... this is so f*&^ing hard to install. lol pretty much just attaching the two pieces together. I am really disapointed with Still on this. It looks dope when its done. It has been four hours, 1/2 a bottle of Captain and a pizza hut pizza and still not installed. im going to sleep damit... this better be on tomorrow so I can install this Greddy exhaust.

The first time I tried installing it, it was way too difficult. The second time I wasn't in a rush so I took my time and it only took like 15minutes to get it on.

I found that my only problem was the part that fall into place around the headlights weren't matching up correctly. However after a little shift here and there it fit snug

This is not a minor install.. it's do-able.. but this is definitely a project we recommend to shop installers who do this day in and day out.

Remember too that this is your first time installing this, if you were doing this over and over, you'd find a million shortcuts. With any large body component installations you've got to allow the time, and if possible, not be hasty.

Once it's all put together and fitted you'll have the final outcome, I hope things go faster tomorrow.

And definitely don't steal the Captain's eye patch.. it will only make things harder..

and one other little piece of advice for those installing the stillen bumper. when the bumper is off take a can of flat black paint and go to town on all the things in the front that will be seen threw the bumper. ex. washer fluid bottle, a/c lines, and any other parts that arent black. look in my sig and you can see where i painted the a/c lines. they look soooooo much better.

Thats an awsome idea smithersbpr.

I had to go to Ace to get a couple longer bolts for the center section, because the ones Stillen give are not long enough. I also got some plastic anhesive glue and clamps to help. I think I am going to head back to Ace and get that Black paint before I put this fascia on.

I do see that you missed one thing that I did as well..... those four clips to the support brace that can be seen between the top and second rungs of the grille. I just put my rear corners on and when I dropped them off to get painted I asked them to paint them black while they were at it. Looks a million times better.
