DIY installation.

Paint around 250 300, but They did not properly clean or prep the urethane.Going to take it to a quality place when I get rims to have it redone, should cost around 700 i think (3 seperate colors)

It all depends on the shop and their overhead. That determines the costs. For example, a guy who does great work and is starting out in the business obviously would charge considerably less than...say..Unique Whips in NYC. My neighbor owns a body shop and only charged me $100 to paint and install. My advice to you is ask around your area. Some guys put up their fliers in the supermarket Good Luck

After Buying the bumper and mesh inserts from stillen it was about 617.23, something like that. And i picked it up so thats not including shipping. I am having the auto body paint it and install it. Apparently the instructions say you need to slice the foam behind the bumper and i needed to get 2 more screws because the stock ones to bolt the two pieces together where too short. They are going to also paint it as two pieces and install it for me, i have not got the price from them yet but they said they would give me a good price.

I am guessing about 300, so its about 1000 bucks after shipping and paint and installation total.

If your a true car buff and have a lot of experience working on it, and are not afraid of messing anything up then by all means DIY man. Saves you a couple bucks. I am only 19 and this is my first actual "New" car (that I did buy on my own, no parents involved)

ehh i dunno if painting a front bumper is a good idea for a DIY. especially with a lot of colors requiring mixing to get it to match the rest of the car.... some colors are obviously easier than others, i.e. black but definetly not white.

I ended up paying $800 for my fascia and side skirts with two-tone paint. Got it done at a reputable collision center. It's more than I wanted to pay, but it's got a lifetime warranty and the quality is far greater than a couple other fascia paint jobs I've seen ... speaking of which, mine's for sale if anyone's interested

I see your point. I got mine done fairly cheap though, so I have no complaints.

My shop in hicksville will paint it for $350 i believe, and will install it free. Theres all sorts of bad paintshops you can get stuff done at.

Make sure its a trusted place that does quality work.

i knooooow. thats exactly what im saying.i want some quality work, good stuff being done to it, but i dont want to pay $130 for the pieces then $200-400 JUST to pain and another $100-300 JUST to install it. i think thats a bit ridiculous...or am i just being cheap?

I am getting mine installed and painted at an Auto Body that the dealer recommended me too. They have been in business for 10 plus years and this dude Robert has 38 years experience.

Try asking your local nissan dealer what auto body they recommend. Tell the auto body who recommended you. Then ask for a quote. They may charge more in labor charges, but you will have an experienced installer who knows nissan vehicles and they have perfect paint match and blend.

I still have not gotten the final price on the work they are doing for me yet, but my estimator George said i would love the price.

This will at least get you a rough for quality work.
