Stillen Exhaust?

which generation Stillen do you recommend for a sedan, generation 1 or two, on their website it says the gen 2 is quieter, but have the same power results as the gen 1 is this true? i have heard that an exhaust can't be quieter and produce the same power ( louder the more power increase) is this true? I would like to buy the exhaust either today or tomorrow so a fast reply would be appreciated, by the way this is a very good forum, full of information. thank you for all the help

I suggest the Borla exhaust if you are wanted to go to a true dual exhaust. Plus its cheaper.

why would you suggest borla over stillen?

Stillen is suppose to be louder than borla regardless if you go with gen I or II stillen exhaust. Plus the price alone would be a serious consideration. $200-300 difference between the two for the same performance gains.

Since you live in Santa Barbara. You should probably order it from Stillen. They are located in Costa Mesa. They will come down on the price sometimes. You can pick it up from will call and save lots of bucks on shipping.

Hi.I had the first gen., and it was too noisy. If I had a choice I'd grab the newer version....no question.
