I'd read on this or another forum that the Stillen did not have the clearance bend. Maybe it differs between the coupe and sedan, but mine did have the bend:

It has a nice tone to it - not overtly loud but it is drony to me between 1500-2k which is my regular acceleration speed for grandma mode in the CVT. I'm not complaining though.

One thing to note is that there was a difference between what Stillen prototyped this on, and my car. I didn't have the rubber hangers to support the resonator, but Loop was kind enough to point out the hanger I needed and they've since been mounted.

Overall it's ok. I'm wondering if I wouldn't have been as happy with the Tanabe. I may get that down the road since I'm having fun throwing money on this car anyway.

For the coupes the Stillen exhaust has the clearance bend. I love the exhaust though, nice deep tone especially after a few hundred miles on it.

I seriously doubt that bend rob's HP. Nismo and Stillen both use this tactic in their cat-back applications. If it didnt widen out then maybe yeah it would rob HP but as you can see it bends but widens out at the same time.

I doubt that it does either. I was just pointing it out.

If I go the Tanabe route later, the stock piece with bend from the cat to the axle-back will go back on, and I'm not worried about it.
