Wow.. tell you what.. That sound might be worth every penny! It sounds great!!!

I suspect you will get a small performance increase from a little more free flowing muffler like this.. but don't expect it to be very much. perhaps 1-2 hp at best. Typically when people talk about hp gains from an exhaust they are looking at replacing the whole system from the cat-converters back to the tips.. and sometimes even the downpipe from the turbo. In those cases people report 5-10 hp gains or more depending on the work and vehicle.

Again though.. That sound improvement would probably justify the purchase for me... it sounds incredible!!! Looks nice too!

I have to agree. If I change my exhaust, it will be for sound. I'm not expecting to generate much additional hp from the back. I will be looking for a tune or a larger turbo to do that (fingers crossed).

On the axle back exhaust for the FWD 6 speed Juke, you guys will be pretty shocked to hear what it made.

We were surprised too. Stock on the Dynojet at STILLEN the car did 173.2 hp 163.74 ft/lbs.

With just the axle back exhaust it did :

186.75 hp / 177.14 ft/lbs of torque. Yes it did really gain 13 hp, and 14 ft/lbs to the tire.

I talked with another company that had tested a Juke, and on a Mustang dyno, they had seen over 160 whp, so the 188 hp at the engine number is conservative.

13hp from just an axle-back??? That's is hard to believe!!! I guess Nissan made an extremely restrictive stock exhaust then.

Yes it is hard to believe, but I looked at the dyno chart on Friday. The whole entire dynochart just moved up around 10-13 hp.

I am a skeptic, there are other skeptics here in the office, but the numbers are the numbers. Soon as I can post the chart, I will post it.

It would be cool if Nissan put this engine into a different car.

That would be great news, but you can put me on that list of skeptics. I'll be waiting to see those results posted.
