I've got the stillen (bolts directly to block) and the weapon-R (bolts to plenum)
I did the stillen first. When I did it I could tell a definite difference in throttle response. Since it in essence, makes the engine more stable and there is less engine roll of any kind, the torque being lost with stock mounts is saved and directly deposited to the crank....which basically means, you have more power. Maybe not dyno numbers....but definitly gwoods butt dyno would feel the difference.
It also makes you car "feel" more stable and more refined. This is one of those things it's hard to describe unless you've felt it before. Like the before and after feel of a suspension upgrade or how your car feels when you take those first turns after that newly installed sway bar or tower bar.
The one and only downside of this install is....it has been known to create a tiny bit more vibration at idle. The main reason for this is the normal movement the engine had before is now being stabilized and you can feel it in the frame (or some say)
I personally have never "felt" the idle vibration....but when I did mine I already had exhaust and a few other things...but either way, I still don't feel any kind of vibration now in my car. I'm sure if someone sat in a stock G at idle for 5 minutes to get accustom to how it felt, then sat in my car, they could definitely feel the difference. But I personally like to be able to feel my car, so it's all good in my book.
It all comes down to....do you want that extra little bit of horse power/stability/throttle resopnse, or do you want to maintain a smoother, more luxury feel of your car.
