STILLEN Day - May 17th, 2008 OC/LA/SD meet location

Ok guys,

This is my proposed location for meeting up before driving to Stillen. It has a big parking lot and we can take Red Hill straight down to McCormick, make a right turn and another right on Airway. This way it's all right turns to keep us together.



Here's the link to the map from Google if you need direction. But basically if you're coming

from the South you'd take 405N, then merge to 55S. Keep the right lane for the 1st exit (Baker). When you see Baker , make a left. The parking will be on your right handside after passing Red Hill. Let's meet at the corner of Red Hill and Baker since we'll leave from that corner.

Coming from North you'd take 405S and merge to 55S and follow direction above.

From 57S you'd take 55S and Exit Baker and follow the same direction.

Any suggestions? Comments? What time should we meet? Parking lot opens at 8, Stillen opens at 9am. Who's going?

Johnny, I'll grab the San Diego folks, and we'll probably leave here early that morning. I believe the outside gates open at 8:00 am, so if we want to get good spots next to each other, we should be there when it opens...

I'm thinking we will leave San Diego NO LATER than 7:00am, and meet you guys around 8:00am

Hey guys,

I'm glad to see you organizing this gathering before the show. I will let you know though that people will start lining up at our entrance at 7 a.m. And Mcormick is going to be closed...you're going to want to enter the show on Paularino.

We are closing down 300 yards of Airway Ave so there will be plenty of parking but we pull hundreds of vehicles at these shows...IT IS HUGE!!!!!!

I totally agree with Rob. San diegans who are interested in going should touch base with Rob the day before, so he can gauge who's coming or not.

OK, I spoke with my wife... looks like we will be heading up to Pasadena to see family that Friday night, therefore, I will be in LA county, and will not be leaving from San Diego.

After reading Kyle's post, I'll probably be up there VERY EARLY!!! i'm not trying to be one of the guys with his car parked waayyy out on the road somewhere, so if I have to be there at 6:30, then so be it... the early bird catches the good parking spots!

Actually your parking lot is a good idea and is actually right across the street from our manufacturing facility oddly enough haha.

If you go down Baker (past Redhill) it will take you straight to Airway. Turn left on Airway and that will take you straight into the show.

For those of you who do not check out the other forums, the Stillen event is one of NICO's NICOfest events. Greg (AZhitman) will be there with his 240sx 'vert as will other staff and NICO members.

10 years ago, I didn't know anything about car audio/video, now... well, I still don't know everything by a long shot, but I've learned little by little...
