I was doing my research for an exhaust system for the Rogue and happen to stumble across Stillen's Cat-Back Exhaust. However, I see that they (Stillen) support majority of Nissan vehicles, so I was wondering how reputable is this aftermarket company? (This is the first car that I am modifying the heck outta it). Also, is this company is similar to Mercedes's AMG brand?

Stillen is pretty reputable, but they aren't anything like Mercedes' AMG division... that would be more like NISMO.

You can always just go to an exhaust shop and get custom exhaust. I've never ever had an aftermarket exhaust fit correctly out of the box. They've all required cutting and welding, so keep that in mind.
Also keep in mind that there is no earthly way your rogue will sound good with loud exhaust. If you want to flow more, just go with larger piping or something back to a quiet muffler.

It's a very reputable company in Nissan and Infiniti circles. During my time dabbling with Nissan Maximas, Stillen was one of the household names when it came to modifications.
Back in the day I was curious as you are (more intrigued by how companies get their names really) and my brief research showed the company was formed by. Steven Millen, who has a racing background.

Stillen is definitely a reputable brand and still is today. They make quite a bit of stuff for the Nissan/Infiniti models and most of the stuff they make is pretty high quality too. Like EdBwoy said above, back during my time with Maxima's, Stillen was THE brand for most modifications.

I already got a quote from a shop in Davie to install this, and I am just want to have a better commute on the FTP since the car is kinda, lets say, way tooooooooooooooooooooo quiet and boring. And it could improve my MPG since I am not getting the advertised MPGs using Cruise Control (unless I literally drive 5 to 10 MPH under the speed limit which is 70), as I had a great convo with them.

I was looking around if they had any other parts, but it looks like they have only the Cat-Back exhaust and brake rotors. Once the mechanical parts start breaking down, that's when I would be searching the aftermarket area for top quality materials.

I would wager with it being a QR25 engine, that you probably can use some stuff off of the previous gen Sentra SE-R or the Altima 2.5's.

Stillen is a legend in the Z community. Steve was a great racer, and went on to make a very successful and reputable racing parts company.

Still probably my favorite race car of all time ever.

I agree with Kompresshun. Stillen is definitely a legit performance part source. If you're seeking an aftermarket exhaust, I'm sure you'd be fine if you bought from them. But I recommend trying to hear their sound in use in a similar vehicle if you can. Some aftermarket exhausts are louder than others. For example, if you're commuting, you might occasionally prefer conversation or music at a normal level instead of fighting against sounds of the equivalent of a late night Taco Bell restroom.

My 3" is way louder than I thought it'd be, and I love it. It's tame around town, but on the interstate it's kinda loud. It's amazing what that extra .5" will do, cause I had a friend in Cali with the same basic setup but in 2.5" and it wasn't nearly as loud.

But I agree to hear the exhaust first. Especially in person if at all possible.

I had this exact sentiment until I bought exhausts from the following companies: Tanabe and Fast Intentions. Those aside from NISMO (who is making new exhausts for the 370Z again? but that's for another thread) are the only ones worth buying, IMHO, but I don't think they make anything for the Rogue.

Stillen is pretty reputable and they'll stand behind their product. They're being pretty aggressive on the Q50 front, and honestly I've heard less complaints from the Q50 guys about Stillen's exhaust fitment than I ever heard out of the 370Z guys. Might be worth a shot. Hopefully their exhausts have improved in the last 10 years or so.

I'm going to do the install in like a year now, since I happen to run into a huge issue with my Rogue and with Nissan USA, EPA, and USDOT, but mostly Nissan. I'm going to bump up my rant thread because my findings with data is something.
